Rusch 5.0: The Adventure Continues...

For Immediate Release:

Rusch 5.0 Redefines Adventure. Pursues Unimaginable Paths. Seeks Extraordinary Records to Break. And Inspires with Innovative Outdoor Programs.

World champion athlete, Rebecca Rusch, consolidates her epic record-breaking athletic career into remarkable new challenges and energizes the world with a company that reshapes experiential offerings to a new audience, hungry to push their own boundaries.

Rebecca Rusch is picking up the pace when most accomplished athletes slow down, even retire. “I’m continually evolving, growing, and expanding my career,” expresses Rusch. “I’m excited about this next chapter: Rusch 5.0.”

Rusch has joined forces with sports and adventure business and marketing pro, Allyson Davis, who recently left her Vice President post at Red Bull to formalize Rusch Ventures. The new company will serve the expanding adventure lifestyle community and brands that seek valuable connections with consumers.

The company integrates Rusch’s signature Rebecca’s Private Idaho gravel cycling event, Rusch Academy training camps, and her epic travel adventure MTB Lao, all supplemented with speaking engagements, distinct expedition projects, relevant content, and new categories including consumer goods and real estate.

“It’s important to me to lead the way and give back,” Rusch proclaims. “Rusch Ventures allows me to continue to inspire people as I keep pushing my own physical and mental limits. We will be producing new world-class experiences, purposeful storytelling content, and products that enhance people’s lives.”

Another part of the Rusch Ventures evolution is the advancement of Rusch’s Be Good™ Foundation, which raises funds through outdoor exploration, events, and personal growth programs. The funds support opportunity in the outdoors, unexploded bomb (UXO) clearance in Lao, and the preservation of public lands. Next up is the relaunch of rebeccarusch.com, an audio version of her best-selling book, Rusch to Glory, and some soon-to-be announced record-breaking expeditions.

About Rebecca Rusch

Rebecca Rusch is the Queen of Pain with a heart of gold. It doesn’t matter if Rebecca is pedaling through the night on an epic adventure across Italy, riding her bike up Africa’s legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro, or teaching at the Rusch Academy’s #JoinTheRusch camp or clinic...she brings energy, positivity, and inspiration to whatever challenge she meets. As a professional athlete for over three decades, the 7x World Champion has continually tested her own limits, shattering the glass ceiling in whatever sport she tackles. She redefined the team dynamics of adventure racing, has a first female ascent rock climbing El Capitan in Yosemite, riverboarded down the Grand Canyon, and has given the men a run for their money in endurance mountain biking. Rebecca’s work extends far beyond the start line as the best-selling author of Rusch to Glory, event producer for Rebecca’s Private Idaho, motivational speaker, firefighter, and cycling advocate. Additionally, she has raised over $100,000 for bike-related charities through her adventures and events. Through Red Bull Media House in 2017, Rebecca released a full-length feature film, Blood Road, which followed her incredibly personal journey while setting a new milestone: the first person to ride the entire 1,800 kilometer Ho Chi Minh trail.
