HI, I'M REBECCA RUSCH

I’m Rebecca Rusch, a leading expert in athlete performance and mindset, world champion endurance athlete, and certified athlete mental health specialist. I have spent more than three decades exploring the limits of what’s possible. My journey has taken me from the start line of the Leadville 100 MTB and the Iditarod Trail Invitational to summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro by bike and riding the entire 1,200 mile Ho Chi Minh Trail. Along the way, I have been honored as a two time Hall of Fame athlete, Emmy Award winning storyteller, best selling author, and created my non-profit, the Be Good Foundation.

People often know me for my grit and curiosity, but what drives me most is helping others discover their own strength, on the bike, in the outdoors, and in life. After a concussion forced me to step back from sport for the first time since I was a teenager, I had to relearn what resilience and well being really mean. That experience deepened my commitment to mental health and shaped my current work.

Through my nonprofit, the Be Good Foundation, I use the bike as a tool for healing and empowerment, from removing unexploded bombs in Laos to expanding access to outdoor opportunities. My Emmy winning film Blood Road tells the story of my ride along the Ho Chi Minh Trail to find the crash site of my father, a Vietnam War pilot. That journey transformed personal loss into a mission of connection and service.

I created the Athlete Operating System to share practical, science backed tools for building resilience, adaptability, and lifelong vitality through speaking, workshops, and retreats. As host of the “What’s the Rusch” podcast, I have honest conversations with high performers and thought leaders about identity, growth, and the courage to evolve.

Whether I am leading a workshop, speaking on stage, or working one on one with athletes and organizations, my goal is to help people move with purpose, embrace challenge, and build stronger, more connected communities. I believe performance and well being go hand in hand, and that everyone deserves the tools to thrive, wherever their adventure takes them.
