September 16 was POW/MIA Recognition Day. In 2007 my father’s remains were finally discovered, but more than 1,500 Americans from the Vietnam War are still unaccounted for. I was privileged to share my story of why I rode 1,200 miles through the jungles of southeast Asia in search of my father’s crash site.
