Iditarod Trail Invitational Gear List- THE BIKE GEAR

I recently completed the Iditarod Trail Invitational (350 miles of self-supported riding through Alaska's harsh winter). One of my core values is "Risk = Reward." This was a massive risk and ultimately one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. With thorough, calculated preparation, (and some help from my special recipe of my Alaskan Schweddy PB Balls) I came out as the first female finisher.

The gear I used was a massive attribution to my success. I am writing this to share with you the gear that gave me the confidence and performance to roll through the finish after 4 days and nights of grueling cycling and mental depletion.

This wheel set is no joke. Featuring a 28-hole count, this 100% unidirectional carbon fiber wheel is optimized to create a structure that achieves the desired impact resistance, stiffness, and compliance.

Now that your gear is tuned to perfection, take a look at some recipes I used for ultimate energy and fuel while out in the Alaskan wilderness- Rebecca's Alaskan Schweddy PB Balls.

On a final note, this short list of gear would not get me through the Iditarod Trail Invitational. I will be releasing more gear lists and tips in the future. Stay tuned!
