People always ask why I keep doing ultra endurance sports. Why keep going? Why go so long? What else do you have to prove? Why do you choose to suffer so much. The answer of when I will stop: Never. The answer of Why: Pain is my teacher. The trail my classroom. My body is the vehicle to absorb what I learn out there. I call this essential personal evolution Dirt Dharma. Dharma is our universal truth, our path, the way forward. On the trail, in the dirt, using my physical body is the best way I know how to access and elevate my mind and spirit.
