I really like the design of specialized bikes but i would like to see the specialized company take more environmental and social responsibility for how they are built. i realized that the industry is competitive so that every every potential angle in production of product must be taken advantage of, but at what cost in the big picture and the long run? i’m interested in hearing comments from people who disagree with me and think that we should take what we can get while we can get it and deal with the consequences later with the hope that that will be left to the future generations.
I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but any manufactured item and all the components that comprise it have an environmental effect that can only be avoided if you DON’T make the item.
If I kill myself, I take my environmental impact to ZERO. I also deprive the people in my world of any comfort or benefit I might have been.
I just don’t see your point.
