I went into Italy Divide thinking it was going to be a couple days of cappuccinos, pizza, and beautiful bike riding. It was definitely all those things, but what I didn’t expect was that this race across Italy would push me to my absolute limit, have me snuggling with strangers cats, and relying on the kindness and hospitality of strangers to survive.
The stories from Italy are many and a lengthy blog post just wasn’t going to cut it. I enlisted the help of my old climbing buddy Chris Kalous, mastermind behind the fantastic podcast Enormocast, to help me share the stories from the struggle that was Italy Divide.
Enjoy the few pictures I snapped in between downpours and have a listen.
