Ask Reba July Giveaway

Hello!

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend, and is all rested up for the second half of summer. I spent the weekend racing in Breckenridge at the USA Marathon Nationals. The Firecracker 50 is a awesome race at high altitude with the heavy hitters in cross country in attendance. I managed a 6th place finish, and I am happy with that result considering the competition. Plus it was a awesome high altitude training day! Here are some results and pictures to look through. But on to the fun stuff.

July’s Ask Reba Give-A-Way features home grown Ketchum, Idaho products!  In celebration of the most amazing place on earth to ride, I am giving away two items from companies in my own back yard.  The lucky winner with the best question for me will win a pair of Smith Pivlock V90 sunglasses with interchangeable lenses. These are the glasses that I race and train in exclusively.  They are super light, sleek and simple.  They have great coverage with not one extra thing on them.  Total function and the best riding glasses I’ve ever worn. So email away to askreba@rebeccarusch.com to win.

But wait, there’s more…

This month’s winner will also win a Hokenoly T-shirt featuring my favorite “Ridaho” design.  Hokenoly is a local design company with really fun riding t-shirt designs.  This bucking bike Idaho design sums up how I feel riding on the local trails at home.  You pick your size and color.  Yee Haw!

Now, submit that question that has been burning in your mind and you could win!

Happy Trails

Hey, I’ve got another question for you. We are the same age and I’ve been an athlete since being a kid. I wanted to know how you deal with the pains that come with age, like the back, legs and feet. Thanks a lot!

  11. When you do a 24 hour race, what is it that keeps you on your bike from say 1AM to 4AM, as that seems to be the time in a 24 hour race that I have a hard time keeping my butt on my seat? Do you ever ride with an i-pod, or anything else to distract yourself? I really like riding with my i-pod on low, so I can hear other racers, but USA cycling does not allow it.

  12. Nicole Gaskell says:

How do you find balance in your life between your personal expectations and your sponsors’ responsibilities?

  13. Rochelle says:

What was your most memorable injury and how did you come back from it?
